My love of small businesses began in 1998 when I was exploring downtown Gilbert, Arizona and stumbled into “Ink It!” a paper crafts and rubber stamps store owned by a lovely and talented mother/daughter team. The store was inspiring, beautiful and a crafter’s paradise.
Not long after, I managed two different Hallmark stores for three years, seeing the joys and frustrations of being small business owners first hand.
I have had a heart for small business owners ever since and I love helping them succeed.
When we moved back to the Gilbert area in 2011, I felt like I had come home and I have since enjoyed discovering more stores to love in downtown Gilbert, like Flashback Antiques and Collectibles…
and the Petite Party Studio (below).
I want to spread the word about these amazing stores and business owners and do some treasure hunting. Plus I want other people to have the experience, too!
So for Small Business Saturday this year, I couldn’t think of anything I would rather do than take a group of ladies to some of my favorite local haunts and check out a few new ones, too.
Thus…the Small Business Saturday Downtown Gilbert Shop Hop!
Join us to experience the shops and eateries of downtown Gilbert, plus take in a little culture at the Art Intersection.
There will be prizes and special deals JUST for Shop Hop participants!
I do need you to RSVP so I know how many goody bags to assemble and so I can make our lunch reservation.
RSVP to the event on the Facebook event page.
Contact me if you have questions or would like to include something in the goody bag to advertise YOUR local small business!
