It’s one of my mantras:
you can’t give what you don’t have.
That means keeping YOU at the top of your priority list so you have something left to pour out to others.
On that note, here are some
self care gift ideas
for when someone asks you, “What do you want for Christmas?”
When you are given self care items, you take better care of yourself which means you are better able to care for the people and projects that matter most. It’s a win-win!

A journal
Start a daily art, writing or gratitude practice. Here’s my post about why and how to start journaling. I prefer them lined and spiral-bound but there are many options out there.
Paint and art supplies
If you want to exercise your right brain or have a creative outlet, start a creative practice. A Smash Book is perfect for this.
Here’s a video all about Smash Books. Check my events page for upcoming Smash Book workshops.
Tea paraphernalia
I endorse living a tea lifestyle so having a “tea for one” set, a nice selection of tea and some cookies on hand means you can throw yourself a tea party any time.

Manicure and pedicure supplies
A pumice stone, a foot mask, blingy nail decals, salt soaks, lotions…they’re such a treat! Here’s my at-home pedicure tutorial to give you some ideas.
Makeup
We feel better when we look our best and a simple daily makeup routine can be a BIG confidence booster. Here’s my post about the best makeup colors for your Dominant Color Category. A basic nude eye palette and soft pinks look good on everyone, though.
Skin care
There’s nothing like coming home from a long day, washing and cleansing your face and applying your moisturizer before bed to feel amazing. I highly recommend prioritizing your skin care and the key is to stick with ONE line of products so they aren’t reacting to each other. Of course my daily skin care routine is Mary Kay but you have to find what works for you. Requesting a night cream or eye cream from your favorite brand is always a great gift idea.
Home decor, pillows, candles…
How are these items self care? Because one of the greatest things you can do for your self care is to make your home your haven. Your home becomes your oasis away from the chaos of the outside world. Now THAT’S a gift!
I hope you enjoyed these self care gift ideas!
