You know how much I love color but neutrals are essential to a functional wardrobe so here’s the scoop on
the best neutral colors for your Color Code.
Let me be clear. I refer to purple, emerald green, true red and turquoise as “neutral” colors because they are neither warm nor cool.
What I’m talking about here are colors in a neutral palette meaning beige, gray, white and brown.
The fact is, every wardrobe needs some neutral pieces. AND the basics in your wardrobe like dress pants, blazers and jackets should be in a neutral color OR your Signature Color.

Ideally, you’d choose one or two neutral shades to stick to (black and white, for example) for a mix-and-match wardrobe.
This is an example of a neutral wardrobe. You’ll see a lot of brown, white and gray with some denim blue and little pink mixed in.

Even if your wardrobe is very colorful, you still need a white tee shirt, a pair of classic dress pants or a LBD (Little Black, Blue or Brown Dress).
So when it comes to choosing dress pants or a basic layering tee, do you know what color to choose?
Let me present the best neutral colors for your Color Code.
