It’s a new year. The holidays were busy. You started off the year excited and ready to have your best year ever. But you may already be feeling overwhelmed and over-scheduled. Your calendar is too full but there’s so much you want to DO.
If you’re like most people, you’re looking for real-life ways to start being more productive.
You’ve come to the right place. Ask the people who know me in real life and they’ll likely agree…I get a lot done.
I’ve been known to say, “Either get on board or get swept up in my tornado of pink glitter.” You’re either with me or choking on my dust.
But I’m not busy.
I’m strategic, calculating and I believe in having a vision affirmation statement and/or personal purpose statement to guide your priorities and commitments. Check out the links to get one of your own.
You might also need to redefine “doing it all.” I did.
First of all, you need a reason to end the busyness.
You need a point of reference when you ask yourself, “Is this endeavor worth my time and attention?” Here’s mine. It has to be REALLY important for me to give up time with these people.
Second, you need to take a serious look at your life. Are you busy…or productive?

But really, it all comes down to one simple concept.
It’s knowing what you’re about…embracing your purpose…and living it out. That’s the key to productivity.
Those things you love doing? Do more of those.
Those things you’re doing? Learn to love them more.
It’s as simple…and as hard…as that. Whole-hearted living.
Do what you love, love what you do.
