Attending Highland Yard Vintage is one of the highlights of my month and I try to take new people with me as often as possible. It’s shopping, inspiration and fabulous people all in one place!
Visiting Highland Yard Vintage
If you love vintage style, home decor, handmade art, supporting artists and makers and being inspired by beautiful design, it’s the place to be. Just waking around and seeing how all the vendors decorate and display their wares (it changes every month!) is one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. The creativity is astounding.
I also love to meet the pickers, artists, makers and decorators. Several of them have become friends! They don’t just set up and sell, they also work the event so make an effort to meet them when you go. You’ll love them and it makes it even more fun to support them and follow them on social media.
Over 50 families are represented and many of them make their living by selling their wares at this event and others like it.
It’s held one weekend per month and is located in an air conditioned building Merchant Square, located in Chandler on Arizona Avenue between Warner and Ray. There’s plenty of parking and it’s easy to find.
It runs Thursday through Sunday and we usually attend on the Friday and have lunch at American Way Market inside Merchant Square. I get BBQ brisket with their yummy coleslaw plus a vintage soda. You have to get a cookie, too. The sugar cookies are THE BEST IN THE WORLD.
We always make time to shop around Merchant Square while we’re there. They’re my favorite mall now! I’ve gotten home decor, clothes, yard art, hats, vintage linens, jewelry, gifts, soap and so much more! Like Highland, it’s incredibly well curated and shopper-friendly.
