Did you know my purpose is helping YOU live your purpose?
We are all born with great purpose. There was a time in my life when the only thing standing in my way was ME. Do you know what’s holding you back from the calling you have on your life??
Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, semi-retired, a business owner, a caretaker, managing a community garden…many of us have the same issues holding us back, from messy closets that mean we start the day with a negative attitude to overloaded schedules to a lack of confidence in self-promotion.
My great joy is helping you break down barriers to purpose.
Besides 25-plus years of working with women in ministry, small business, non-profits, direct sales and more, I’m drawing from 15 years of my blogging history to bring you inspiration, tools and encouragement for your journey. I’ll keep adding to it over time. Please let me know if there’s anything missing! I’d be honored if something here can help with your goals!
Purpose & Vision
Of course everything comes back to having a vision for your life, which starts with choosing a one word for your year (mine is “cultivate” and I hope this post helps cultivate purpose in your life!) or a life word (mine is ELEVATE). I’m a huge fan of vision boards any time of the year and have tons of resources and worksheets here.
Another main component to starting off is to know your Identity. Addressing mine helped me overcome anxiety and is still my go-to when anxiety threatens to creep back in. If you haven’t spent much time on it, I highly recommend it.
It might be time for a purpose reboot! Treat it like a retreat.
This one I can’t recommend enough: practicing gratitude.
Another critical component is journaling so you can write out your thoughts and keep track of connections and insights.
I always have journals in my booth and in my home office if you need one!
Having a creative practice means you can keep your brain stimulated and exercise your creative muscles on a regular basis! Read about starting a creative practice here.
Without decluttering, it’s nearly impossible to be effective and stress free. Plus knowing what you have and being able to easily put your hands on it makes all of life feel more manageable.
