The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is one of my favorite places on planet earth and it has become our tradition to spend Good Friday there. Being that Jesus spent part of His day in a garden, it seems apropos that we would, too.

These images are straight off my Nikon camera–no edits, no cropping, no adjustments. Feel free to use them!

These flowers were from the entrance, reassuring us of the beauty within.

The beauty of desert plants.

You can’t beat that Arizona blue sky.

I love the roses with the greenhouse and the bistro set. One of my favorite spots!

Beautiful bell.

I love this cactus skeleton!

The irises were in rare form.

Cactus blooms always impress.

A beautiful spot. Lots of garden inspiration!

One of my favorite spots. The shadows were especially impressive today.

A favorite view.

So many beautiful flowers.

More desert blooms.

Vibrant red!

The back of the flowers are pretty, too.

Beautiful light.

I loved the spines with the flowers.

Cypress trees!

Desert landscape.

Lizard showing off.

Pink roses in the herb garden.

My favorite garden spot.

Looking for light.

The smell of the orange blossoms was delightful.

The sound of water is so soothing.

A bouquet I collected from the roadside nearby.

I hope you enjoyed this virtual visit! Feel free to use any of these images, I’m happy to share.
