This is, to use a word thrown around a lot lately, UNPRECEDENTED. I’m thrilled to be turning my focus to a mentorship program for bloggers called Blog Smarter. I adore writing for you, interacting with you on social media, hosting events and workshops, answering your questions and delivering all the services I offer.
Did you know I’ve been blogging since 2007? That’s 13 years! I’ve had a “mommy blog,” I’ve been a ghost blogger for businesses, I’ve run blogs for selling a house, chronicling my pregnancies, promoting a mom’s group…so. many. blogs! And I’ve been running an online business in one form or another since 2011! I love blogging, social media and all things online marketing AND I love connecting with my clients in real life!
I’ve also been holding off on leveling up and becoming the leader I know I’m meant to be.
Why? Some of it is just the time constraints of three kids and two self-employed people in our house. It’s also because it’s hard for me to “package” everything I love to write and teach about. Part if it’s just the logistics of running all of this and the sheer overwhelm of it all. Do I need a sales funnel? What should my opt-in be? Am I missing some “magic bullet” that will help me tie everything together so it’s easy for my readers to understand and utilize??
Over the years I haven’t invested much in my own business development. I’ve definitely never spent much time with other bloggers! I’ve been feeling a pull to streamline everything and nail some things down, partly to better serve my clients and partly for my own peace of mind. I’m doing this for ME.
The course runs mid May through early August and I’ll be pretty focused on it along with my site logistics, branding and services. Definitely follow me on social media to follow along–you know I’ll keep posting regularly.
Be on the look-out for some changes!
Maybe I’ll offer a new course or a new opt-in! I might start talking about what I do with different language or give up some of my services. I’m not sure what to expect but I’m more excited than I’ve been in years.
Whatever happens, I hope you’ll like what you see and that it helps you live, dress and work with purpose!
