Whether we’re coming off of a fantastic year or a crumby one, we want the next year to be our best yet! If you had a year of wins and highs, you want to keep the momentum going! If your year derailed or deteriorated, you want to get back on track. The whole reason people set goals, create vision boards and choose a word at the start of the year is to help insure an intentional year. I’ve written about this topic many times so here’s my best on how to
make 2018 intentional
***Make sure to visit my Events Page for info on attending an upcoming vision board workshop***
For me, 2017 was defined by one thing (or person): KATE.
Just about the time I was laying tracks for my year, we found out we were pregnant on January 8th. The first trimester meant lots of down time and rest. The second trimester was busy and HOT. The third trimester was all prep, more rest and even more HOT. Then she finally arrived at the end of September (over a week past her due date) and we’ve been adjusting to life with a newborn again ever since. And now of course we’re in full blown holiday mode.
Kate will be just over three months old at the start of 2018 so she’ll be past the newborn phase and into the infant phase, which presents unique challenges.
I’m choosing to see the new opportunities made available by returning to a more “work from home”/mom life instead of seeing the limitations.
The same is true for every season of life–we choose to see the limitations or the possibilities.
I believe we all want to make 2018 intentional. There are few worse feelings than another year slipping by with nothing to show for it.
Being intentional means beginning with the end in mind and creating a clear picture of what we want. Here are some tools for you!
