This is the post
where I reveal my plans for 2016.
If you missed it, here’s the recap I did of 2015. A look back at 2015…and the power of trying new things.
I don’t know about you but I am soooo ready to embrace a new year!
My word for 2016
The big announcement is my WORD for 2016! But…
Here’s the real word!
UTILIZE. It’s not very sexy and they don’t have it on a cute sign At Hobby Lobby.
But I have SO many resources and SO many gifts (actual physical gifts, like art journals, stationary, organizing supplies plus online courses, a stack of books, etc. etc.) that I didn’t have time to UTILIZE in 2015. Well…it’s time.
Below represents the new focus of my blog, services and events. I will NOT be taking on clients for strategy sessions, social media tutorials or other business-related activities and will instead be focusing on color, confidence and faith.
This will free me up to write my book and help me return to my true love:
helping women look and feel fabulous so they can pursue their God-given purpose!
I’d love to have you over for a MakeUpdate or Signature Color Experience! Just check out the work with me page.
Other plans for 2016
I’ll be serving as the secretary for the Gilbert Historical Society Board of Directors for a second year. I love being on this board and I’m excited about the work we’re going to do in 2016.
Because of my love of babies and mamas, I’ll also be continuing to teach classes for and support the Pregnancy Care Center of Chandler, which has a NEW location in Gilbert.
I’m excited to be a contributing author and editor for loveSTRONG Ministries in 2016 as well. I’ll be attending the REVEAL one-day retreat in April, I’d love for you to come along! A dear friend of mine is one of the speakers.
I’ll fill in as an event blogger when I’m able to for Career Connectors.
Beyond that, my mom and I will still be hosting our weekly Life Group via Central Christian Church. Those ladies rock my world and are my safe place to be myself. That is SO important. I’ll also be assisting with the Serving at Central class and in a few other areas as needed. I plan to attend the Global Leadership Summit in 2016 and would love to get a group together to attend with me at the Gilbert location! (this year I served as the Assistant On-site Event Manager)
Annndddd…at the top of my priority list…
So there you have it, my plans for 2016!
Now I’d love to know YOUR plans so I can support and encourage you!
