Faith | Life | Style. Finding the sweet spot of purpose without busyness.
I was too busy once. I had wandered far from my purpose. I bought into a life of striving to measure up, trying to prove myself and attempting to earn God’s favor. A wake-up call in 2008 caused me to drop everything (our home, a car, my business and ministry) and start over. Now my passion is empowering women to live UP to their potential and own their greatness…without losing themselves in the process.
I write, host events, cheerlead, serve the community and work as an Image & Style Strategist. My “ladies” (my tribe, my cohorts, my besties) are mostly in the Phoenix valley but I love on women all over the U.S.
My husband and I are also launching a ministry geared toward serving ministry leaders. We’ll be talking more about that in the months to come.
About me? It’s simple. God comes first in my life. I am a committed and highly imperfect wife of 14 years and mother of two boys (with one on the way). My blog and my business are my gift to God because He has blessed me so greatly.
My official bios–written by me–appear below.
I am Tabitha. An imperfectionist, recovering people pleaser, bargain shopper and frequent hostess. I’m really good at treasure hunting and in seeing the best in people. I hate to clean but love to organize and fluff. I’m not into exercising but I’m strict about what I eat. I’m an outgoing extrovert. As an INFJ, I have a rich inner life and strive to make the world a better place.
My goal in life is to make people’s lives easier and I hope you’ll let me partner with you on your journey.
Any excuse to dress up. Ready to serve. Always giving away prizes. Tea, polka dots, red lipstick…this is what you’re in for here.
I have always been the “good girl.” I loved school, got good grades, went to church fives times a week, never got into trouble and worked hard to keep everyone around me happy.
I got a teaching degree, got married, found a church home and had a baby. I even saved myself for marriage. I did everything “right.”
Then I had a miscarriage.
I felt like God betrayed me. Anxiety ensued. It was a major wake-up call.
So I quit everything, sold a car, sold a house and rebuilt my life.
God and I worked through my issues. I am a very different person now.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by your own life.
I know what it’s like to be mad at God.
And I know what it’s like to give up on being Super Mom. I fight anxiety every day. I work hard to take care of myself.
I am an advocate of self care and slowing down. Nothing soothes me more than a hot cup of tea and a self help book.
All I’ve ever wanted was to lead women. God has given me a story. He has given me gifts of hospitality, helps and leadership. Denying my gifts and squelching my story would be an insult to the God I love.
So here I am. Sharing my stories, getting women together, helping the women in my day to day life find the confidence to live THEIR best life.
I write for you, come into your closet, invite you over for tea or give you ideas to help you take action. I love it all.
I’m just me, doing the best I can to live up to my full potential and thrilled for the opportunity to help you do the same.
Welcome to my world!
