Finding the sweet spot of purpose without busyness.
DO YOU BELONG HERE?
Can you relate? I’m a fun-loving, get ‘er done mover and shaker committed to living an “out there” life, being of service and offering my gifts…and I also need time to sip a cup of tea, write in my journal and recharge after too much extroverting.
I burned out once and I’ll never let it happen again.
I am passionate about being a woman of influence but I also really like my sanity.
I love social media, networking, teaching, speaking…but I refuse to “hustle” or lose my peace to get ahead.
“Purpose without busyness” is at the heart of everything I do.
Whether your “thing” is running a home or an entire company, I’m all about inspiration and strategies to live UP to your potential while honoring your rhythms and values. If that sounds like something you need, I think you’ll find a home here.
I was born and raised in northern Florida, relocated to the Phoenix valley in 1998 and currently reside in Chandler, AZ with my hubby of almost 15 years (Drew, he’s a Realtor) and our two sons, ages 11 and 8. We also have a baby GIRL due in September 2017!
Kate will be joining us in mid-September!
I have been writing “since I learned to hold a pencil” as my dad tells it and was published at age 14 in a kids’ motorsports magazine.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up and taught fourth grade in Rainbow Valley until we started our family. Now I get to teach grown-ups!
I got my feet wet in the east valley business world as a small business social media coach, ghost blogger, copywriter and editor. I love to shop local and support small business. Writing and editing are where my inner nerd comes out.
I’ve been blogging for over ten years and it’s still my favorite thing to do.
My other favorite things to do?
- treasure hunting (like a pirate, only in Goodwill and Ross)
- reading magazines
- growing roses
- drinking tea
- puttering around the house
- meeting new people
- avoiding people (I’m an out-going introvert)
- exploring local arts and culture
I’m an INFJ, imperfectionist, recovering people pleaser and beauty chaser.
I’ve never stopped playing dress-up and became a Certified Image Consultant in 2016.
I currently speak, teach and consult on a myriad of topics as well as host events and volunteer in the community.
My husband and I are in the process of creating a non-profit for ministry leaders called Desert Sanctum.
My passion is inspiring women to live their purpose and my “job” is to empower women to live, dress and serve confidently.
I love my life and I’m so glad you’re here!
Tabitha Dumas is a thirty-something child of God, blogger, speaker and Certified Image Consultant on a mission to see the women in the Phoenix valley live UP to their God-given potential. Her time is divided between her family, writing, running her business, shopping, avoiding housework and volunteering at Central Christian Church and the Gilbert Historical Society. She, her husband, Drew, and their two sons (with a girl on the way) reside in Chandler, Arizona with their cat Snickers.
Tabitha is a “Southern belle turned cactus hugger,” child of God, wife and mother of two sons with a baby girl due in September. She calls herself an imperfectionist, a recovering people pleaser, a grace collector and a “get ‘er done” type and she blogs about her journey on tabithadumas.com. When she’s not holding Style Strategy appointments in her Chandler home studio, you’ll find her speaking, teaching, tending her roses, shopping or volunteering at Central Christian Church and the Gilbert Historical Society. She’s also the creator of Signature Color Style and the founder of Knits Ministries and a non-profit called Desert Sanctum.
